우리의 우주, 우리의 혼돈"은 신비적 체험과 사회적 저항 사이의 관계를 살펴본다. 이 작품은 험난한 한국사와 정령숭배의 전통 속에 젖어 있는 소녀 "인"에 대한 이야기이다. "인"은 몽환적인 상태에서 로스엔젤레스 코리아 타운에 있는 현재의 집을 떠나 환상적인 동시에 실재적인 선조들의 영혼과 자취로 가득한 비밀스런 세계를 찾아간다. 한국전에서 탐욕과 불화의 세력들이 민중을 상대로 저지른 범죄들이 역사적 망각의 자국을 따라 되살아난다. "인"은 동물정령들의 안내로 새로운 환경에 눈뜨고, 자신의 무지와 자신에 내재된 힘을 깨달으면서, 기록되지 않은 역사 속 자신의 위치를 이해하려고 노력한다.
우리의 우주, 우리의 혼돈"은 여러 편의 애니메이션을 커다란 벽화로 통합한 다채널 비디오설치물인 "유령전쟁" 의 일부로서 전시된 바 있다.
Our Cosmos, Our Chaos explores the connection between mystical practice and social resistance. It tells the story of IN, a young girl mired in Korea's turbulent history and animistic traditions. In a potential dream state, IN has left her home in present-day Koreatown, LA for a secret world filled with ancestral ghosts and references, both fantastic and real. Repressed crimes committed by forces of greed and war against the populace during the Korean War return in the wake of historical amnesia. Guided by animal deities, alive to her new surroundings, and coming to terms with her own ignorance and power, IN struggles to understand her place in unrecorded history.
Our Cosmos, Our Chaos has been exhibited as part of a larger multi-channel video installation entitled "Ghost War" with segments of the animation embedded into a large mural.
